Since Matt Rose uploaded a picture of O’Bannon Creek Falls by photographer Mark Birkle on the FB fan page, I thought it would be fun and interesting to have a picture page. You see how this is not just my website? Great idea Matt. I give you the credit for this.

So send your pictures and requests to Admin@GoshenOH.com, using subject "pictures". I am talking about community events, Landscapes, Streetscapes, etc. Pictures that capture the character of our community and will let Goshenites all over the world see what is happening in their home town.

The pictures can be of anything that would have a general interest to anyone.

In other words your picture of Aunt Rosie, while special to you probably would not be of much interest to the rest of us. Unless of course she had bushy eyebrows and abnormally large ears.

Disc Golf at Marr Park

Not sure what the "official" name of the course will be but Andrew Miller and his crew have been working diligently for the past month or so to get the course ready. It is just now starting to actually resemble a course. So I wanted to start adding some pictures to show everyone how nice the course is going to be. This first batch is just a start. I will be adding pics of each hole very soon. Since I am unfamiliar with the technical jargon of the sport please forgive me (and correct me) as I try to describe my pics.

TEAM CHANDLER & Skyline Chili of Goshen joined together to raise money to benefit TEAM CHANDLER’S “pay it forward child”. This child is a freshman at Goshen High School and has been diagnosed with Restaged Osteosarcoma.
Marr-Cook Carnival

Goshen Boys BB Senior Night

Tonight's game was the last home game for seniors Derek Bunnell, Tyler Stewart, Nate Godby, Thomas Gibson, and Antony Burch. They beat a taller CNE team by almost 20 points after being down at halftime by about 5. This was a fun team to watch this year. They played with heart and tonights game was a perfect example of this. They were up early by 10. And when they lost that lead in the second quarter they could have got down on themselves but they didn't. They fought back hard in the second half and cruised to an easy win. Thanks for a great season!
Goshen Girls BB Senior Night

Although this was not actually the last home game for seniors Brooke Catauro, Jade Morris, Kim Atwood, Synthia Shinkle, and Kelly Tucker; it was still called Senior Night. Their last home game is Saturday afternoon. The home team won by about twenty and the game was not really that close. Great job this season girls.

Adopt a Senior 2009

The 2nd annual Adopt a Senior program was headed up by Goshen Township Communications Director Mandy Storer and Clermont Senior Services. Because of generous donations from community residents, Goshen Lions Club, Goshen Girl Scout Troop 40185, Goshen Fire and EMS Association, and our local Kroger Store the program was a huge success again this year. Helping to pass out gifts were Township Trustee Jack Kuntz, and Trustees Elect Bobby Hauserman, and Ray Autenrieb along with George Brown the Director of Clermont Senior Services. An enjoyable time was had by all 39 residents of O'Bannon Terrace Senior Apartments. Pictures taken by Erwin Walker, Jr.
